Irish Lighthouses
Sharma continues her series of books about lighthouses across the world. The first of her International series, Scottish Lighthouses, has sold thousands of copies and it is expected that Irish Lighthouses will be just as popular. The author has chosen thirty lighthouses from the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The history of each light is presented along with information on the area surrounding the lighthouse. This is not just a lighthouse book but also a history lesson and guidebook about Ireland.
The book is filled with magnificent pictures of the lighthouses from well-known lighthouse photographers. This book of 96 pages is so beautiful that it would make a great coffee table book at paperback prices.
